Mercoledì 22 Aprile alle ore 19:00 su Apple Music e AppleTV il New Jersey Pandemic Relief Fund ha organizzato JERSEY 4 JERSEY, una raccolta fondi lunga una notte per combattere l’impatto sanitario, sociale ed economico del COVID- 19 sulle comunità più vulnerabili del New Jersey: tra i partecipanti Saquon Barkley, Tony Bennett, Jon Bon Jovi, Danny DeVito, Whoopi Goldberg, Halsey, Chelsea Handler, Charlie Puth, Kelly Ripa, Bruce Springsteen, Jon Stewart, SZA.
L’impegno civile di Jon Bon Jovi è conclamato, ma anche la sua carriera lo impegna molto: riflettendo su quei 8 minuti in cui George Floyd non respirava, il brano American Reckoning sarà aggiunto nel nuovo album la cui uscita era prevista inizialmente il 15 Maggio e poi posticipata per la pandemia: si sussurra che dovrebbe essere il 30 Ottobre 2020, ma aspettiamo che venga anche annunciato quando riprende il tour. Se abbiamo fatto bene i calcoli alle 10 tracce previste del nuovo album, se ne aggiungono due: Do What You Can (scritta con l’aiuto dei fans) e American Reckoning.
